Enterprise Promotions Manager is an advanced rules based solution supporting 150+ promotional price options. Retailers can setup multiple promotions for one store, multiple store groups (user definable) or all stores. With Enterprise Promotions Manager, retailers can build and execute simple date / time based price changes, automatic discounts, complex mix and match promotions, package promotions, gift cards and promotions involving issuance of coupons or redemption of coupons triggering a special promotion.

Retailers can target specific customer and worker groups for various types of promotions. Promotions can be further qualified by requiring a particular form of tender or transaction limit, in addition. Enterprise Promotions Manager can integrate with a retailer’s existing enterprise to access item, customer and employee data. Retailers have the added flexibility to define an unlimited number of unique item, customer or employee groups to target for promotion.

Enterprise Promotions Manager provides unprecedented flexibility for retailers to define and setup different combinations of promotions at various levels within the merchandise hierarchy in addition to the item and item group (user definable) levels. Via the rules based engine, Enterprise Promotions Manager automatically calculates “best deal” when overlapping promotions are present within a POS transaction. Retailers also have the option to setup and execute non-overlapping promotions.

Enterprise Promotions Manager consists of an enterprise tool used to build promotions with a simple and easy to use graphical user interface. Additionally Enterprise Promotions Manager provides an in-store promotions engine to quickly and efficiently analyze each item in a transaction to determine if it is eligible for a promotion. The in-store promotions engine is designed for scalability and delivers the performance required for high volume stores. Enterprise Promotions Manager makes extensive use of Web Services to integrate with a retailer’s item master, customer, store and employee databases where required.

Via the enterprise tool, retailers can build promotions using the promotion editor either with wizards, an expert mode or copy/start from a previous promotion. Promotions are built using rules as opposed to the tedious process of modifying significant amounts of data. Additionally, the rules based interface reduces complexity, minimizes mistakes and improves accuracy. The promotion rules are downloaded to each store and accessed by the in-store promotions engine to apply the appropriate promotion(s) to a customer’s transaction.

Enterprise Promotions Manager can be integrated with E3 Retail’s TouchPointPOS™ or a third- party POS to automate real-time evaluation and application of promotional discounts, reduce manual errors and minimize both cashier training and sales initiatives.

Minimizes data downloads to stores – Enterprise Promotions Manager transmits the specific business rules associated with promotions to each store instead of transmitting all the items to each store specified in a promotion, thus minimizing the amount of data downloaded.

“Best Deal” calculation – The in-store pricing engine performs analysis on each item sold in the transaction to determine applicable promotions and best deal for the customer automatically. Enterprise Promotions Manager eliminates manual steps required by the operator or the operator having to ring items in a particular order to create the best deal.

Flexibility of promotion types – The unique rules based editor unlocks the power to define promotion rules in an unlimited number of combinations maximizing the types of campaigns that can be offered.

Reduce manual discounts / fraud – By centrally controlling automatic discounts, retailers can reduce the quantity of manual discounts required in the stores and the possible fraud associated with using the manual discounts.
